In order to be able to be used safely and reliably indoors in the future, drones must be able to recognize people and objects so that they can interact with them in a situation-appropriate manner. In the project "QANI-FEED - 6D Autonomy" , funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, we are currently dealing with this topic. For this purpose, the functionality of a stereo camera, which generates a depth image, was tested on a drone.
The next step is the complete embedding into the system.
