Exchange on legal framework

Federal Transport Minister Volker Wissing wants to finally remove hurdles for unmanned aviation and present a law to facilitate drone flights by the end of this year. "We want Germany to become a lead market for drone flight and unmanned aviation," says the FDP politician.

Emqopter is already making an active contribution here. This also includes exchanges with politicians, especially on the current legal framework.

Bavaria's Digital Minister Judith Gerlach (CSU) recently visited the Centre for Digital Innovation in Würzburg. Here she met Emqopter as well as other start-ups from the region. The Mainpost wrote an article about Ms Gerlach's visit, which you can read here.

Emqopter also met with the State Minister for Science and the Arts, Markus Blume, this month as part of the handover of the funding certificate for the Kitzingen Technology Transfer Centre, in which Emqopter participates as a benefactor. The Mainpost also wrote an article about this event, which you can read here.

We are also pleased that this topic is not only very popular in Bavaria but also nationwide. Therefore, Emqopter was very pleased to welcome FDP politician Ulrich Lechte, spokesman for foreign policy, his colleague Thomas Dischinger as well as Lukas Bohn and Tobias Dutta to our headquarters. During this meeting, we explained to our visitor, among other things, the enormous development of Emqopter in recent years.

Oliver Luksic, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport, had also visited us at our stand at the transport logistic trade fair in Munich. At his request, we presented our latest technical developments, which led to a very interesting conversation.
