From 22 to 23 May 2025, an interdisciplinary lecture workshop entitled “Flight physics and automation of unmanned aerial vehicles” took place - organized by the German Society for Aeronautics and Astronautics (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DGLR) in cooperation with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau.

For two days, everything revolved around the latest developments in unmanned aviation. The topics ranged from simulation, avionics & system integration, sensor technology, structural analysis & aeroelasticity, UAV development & demonstrators to autonomous navigation and mission planning.

As part of the workshop, our General Manager (fin.) Marvin Bihl presented our practice-oriented teaching system QCS (Quadrotor Control System). In addition to an introduction to the system, he not only presented the system in theory, but also gave the participants a live demonstration of the QCS. The teaching system aroused great interest among the participants.

We would like to say thank you for the excellent organization of this forward-looking event and look forward to interesting collaborations in the future.
