Emqopter at the MedtecSUMMIT

As part of Automatica 2025, international experts from the fields of robotics, automation, and healthcare gathered in Munich at the End of June for the MedtecSUMMIT.

The healthcare sector continues to face major challenges: a shortage of skilled workers, an aging population - and not enough time for what really matters. Our approach: using autonomous drones and ground robots to automate transport routes, thereby providing targeted relief for nursing staff.

June 25, 2025, our General Manager (fin.) Marvin Bihl was on-site as a speaker. During the session “Is the future of healthcare logistics digital and autonomous?”, he presented our solutions for digital, autonomous logistics in healthcare under the title “Fewer journeys, more care: automated end-to-end transport using robots and drones.”

The MedtecSUMMIT, organized by Bayern Innovativ on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, offered an exciting mix of keynotes, panel discussions, and practical applications focused on logistics and clinical robotics.
